Getting Ready For Your Massage
Complete your electronic forms at least one day before your appointment. Arrive about 5 minutes early to use the rest room and relax for a few minutes until your therapist is ready for you. Appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes with 50 minutes of treatment time and 10 minutes for cleaning and disinfecting, and start promptly.
When your session is ready to begin, your therapist will greet you and escort you to your treatment room, review your health history, your reasons for coming and areas of focus. After consulting, your therapist will leave the room, and after they do, you can undress leaving your bottom underwear on, remove any jewelry, and put away all cell phones and devices. After a few minutes, your therapist will knock and ask for permission to enter.
During your massage your therapist will ask you about the level of pressure and about any areas that may be causing you discomfort. It’s perfectly ok, and helpful, to talk during your massage. Now is the time to communicate and give feedback as your therapist works to relieve your aches, pains and tension. As your session comes to a close, your therapist will inform you that your session has ended, review the areas worked, and recommend a treatment plan to help further relieve your aches, pains or stress.
Once your therapist leaves the room, redress and exit the room to checkout. If you would like to leave your therapist a cash gratuity, please do so as you exit the room. Or, if you prefer, you may leave your therapist a credit card gratuity when you checkout at the front desk.
